Chapter Philanthropy and Service

The Iota Chi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha involves themselves in a variety of ways to contribute to not only our philanthropy (Breast Cancer Education & Awareness) but our community and other service projects as well.

We put on a couple of different service events where the entire campus has a chance to get involved! Each year we have our annual Pink Week and different organizations get involved with our various activities. We end the week with a Pink Pancake Breakfast, and all of the proceeds raised from these events go towards our philanthropy!

 In addition to these events, we partner with MTSU Athletics to host Think Pink sporting events. We hosted the Miracle Minute Women's Basketball Game in 2019 and collected over $900 in one minute! We look forward to continuing this tradition and adding more sports to our yearly roundup.

Being less than an hour away from Nashville allows us to also participate in the Tennessee Titans Crucial Catch game by handing out ribbons to fans as they enter the stadium, as well as volunteering at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.
